Miguel Hernandez Singer and songwriter has become one of the most talked about new stars in Texas, and making a name for himself as he climbs his way through the Latin music industry. Miguel's rich trademark sound grips his listeners with his powerful and raw voice. His songs are incisive, well crafted, yet funky and gutsy. Born in Detroit, Michigan Miguel began playing guitar as well as other several instruments. At age 18 he recorded under Capital EMI Latin and at age 20 he had become a serious songwriter/arranger. Miguel has performed with many acts such as Stephanie Lynn, Stefani Montiel, Patsy Torres, Jimmy Gonzales & Mazz and Shelly Lares. His self-penned songs, vocal range and movements have been recorded. In 2004 Miguel's first self titled CD hit the charts at the #1 spot for six consecutive weeks. Latin Groups Juan Cruz Valdez A multifaceted, charismatic singer on the Latin International scene. His passion for his music is evident by the heart and soul he puts into his performances. It is evident on stage that his songs are sang from his heart. Juan was raised in the Central Texas town of San Marcos. He started performing at the age of 12. Though he prefers to use his talents in the Latin International field of music, his abilities range from Tejano, R&B to Country music. He is proud of his Hispanic heritage and wishes to continue his singing career in his native language of Spanish though his talent has no boundaries. He has been part of several bands in his career including the Sunshades, Syndicate, Celave, and the Tejano Crew on Joey Records. He had a number one hit, "Ojos De Marin", that stayed on the number one spot for six weeks. He was nominated for song of the year in 1998 for the Tejano Music Awards. Linda Escobar In the late 1960’s, Linda Escobar was a child singer with a gold record, “Frijolitos Pintos”. Linda now stands before a 40-year career and has been inducted into the Tejano Roots Music Hall of Fame. “It was a great world for a child. Los Padrinos Juan Santillan Jr. is our lead singer and songwriter, and also plays bajo sexto. Juan gave up his dream of singing in a Karaoke bar when he decided to form Los Padrinos with Martin. Nando Losoya I am originally from Lovington, New Mexico. I moved to San Antonio in pursuit of a Tejano music career. I have many influences in my style of singing but to name a few are: Jay Perez, Ricardo Castillon, Javier Galvan, MAZZ, and La Mafia. I am a very versatile vocalist able to sing different genres of music (i.e. Tejano, Conjunto, Country, R&B, basically anything you throw at me). I have also sang backup vocals for a few groups. I've been ready to lead a group as a lead vocalist. I am very passionate about entertaining and enjoy being on stage in front of an audience (whether large or small). Mark Guerrero This great musician and songwriter grew up in East Los Angeles attending James A. Garfield High School, East L.A. College and Cal State L.A., earning a B.A. in Chicano Studies. The son of legendary singer and composer 'Lalo Guerrero' began performing at age 13 with the rock band Mark & the Escorts, who often shared the bill with storied eastside groups such as The Blendells and Thee Midniters, and was included on the album "West Coast Eastside Revue" along with The Premiers, Cannibal & the Headhunters, the aforementioned Blendells, and others. Mark then led the popular East L.A. group The Men From S.O.U.N.D., and at the age of 21 wrote and recorded his first single for producer Lou Adler of the Mamas and the Papas and Carole King fame. Liza Ybarra Liza Ybarra is a multi-talented vocalist, songwriter, percussionist, and actress. She sings & writes in both Spanish and English, but her specialty is traditional Tejano. On the personal side she is charismatic, funny, and has a million dollar smile. She is currently working on her first full length CD with mostly original songs that will be an instant classic. Thirty year old Eric born in Victoria, Texas is more than a singer he’s a guitarist and accomplished saxophonist with a four-year stint with the legendary Tejano band La Sombra de Tony Guerrero. He also teamed up with Bobby Pulido, heir to Tejano legend Roberto Pulido y Los Classicos, then with A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kings, there after joining the team with D.J Kane, lead singer of Kumbia Kings. And, yes, Eric is a songwriter and producer too. Jesse Marroquin His name has been well established in the Corpus Christi region. He has performed at numerous high visibility concerts in the area, as well as the usual Quinceañera and wedding bookings.
